CNPEM hosted the second edition of the Transmission Electron Microscopy Fundamentals Course from July 15th to 19th, 2024. Promoted by the Brazilian Nanotechnology National Laboratory (LNNano), the course is aimed at graduate students and researchers in nanomaterials, amorphous materials, and related fields. The event covered fundamental aspects of Transmission Electron Microscopy, providing basic knowledge for experiment planning, parameters to obtain results, and data interpretation.
This course provided very relevant foundations for electron microscopy, especially from the point of view of transmission electron microscopy, which I had less experience with. We learned about theoretical and practical aspects, experiments and data analysis, in addition to visiting the impressive facilities of LNNano-CNPEM.
